pemdas

Explanation:

pemdas means Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division (from left to right), Addition and Subtraction

you always want to go left to right

when using pemdas.

example 4^5 • (9-8)

you start from left to right

we would work in parentheses because that is what pemdas said to do.
