All the workers on a 6-person team work at the same rate. If the entire team can pour a foundation in 48 hours, in how many hours can half the team pour the foundation?

Answer:

96 hours

Explanation:

Because they are expecting half of the team to do the whole foundation, you can double the time to even the equation out. In other equations, you can figure it out another way but this one is very simple!

Originally:

6 people | 48 hours

Now:

3 people | x hours

x=48*2

x=96

This is just my way of solving this, there are many other ways to do this though! :)
