(b1 + b2)h/2

So, you will ad up 7in and 3in, and you should get 10in.

Now multiply 10 in by the height which is 5in, so it will be 50in^2. Then you have to divide that by 2 turning it into 25in^2.

For the top part, it is basically a triangle so you just multiply 3 by 6, giving you 18/2 = 9in^2

Add the two together and you should get 34in^2
