Explanation:

find the area of the two triangles and the rectangle separately

rectangle: 14×12=168 inch^2

left triangle: 2×12=24

24÷2=12

both of the triangles have the same area so they r both 12 inch^2

overall the area is 12+12+168=192 inch^2
