1. cutting with sound!? - did you know that it's possible to cut objects with sound? Researchers at the University of Michigan are developing a sound knife that can cut only using sound pressure. I think it works by focusing a laser through an Acoustic lens.

these lasers can also be focused down to areas as small as 75 to 400 micrometers. It got the nickname the "invisible scalpel". well, it's only a matter of time before these universities uncover the unbelievable.
