Plato's two horns are a metaphor for the two sides of human nature. The first horn is the side of human nature that is rational and logical, while the second horn is the side of human nature that is more emotional and instinctual. Plato believed that these two sides of human nature must be balanced in order for a person to be truly wise and virtuous. He argued that if either of these two horns is neglected, then the person will become unbalanced and not be able to achieve true wisdom.
Hope this helps
