How does communication in groups differ from individual communication?

Communication in groups differs as more minds are contributing to the conversation. when it is just a one-on-one conversation, things tend to be more intimate and can unfold into a more emotional conversation. In a group, people tend to hide extreme emotions so as not to be seen as sensitive or just bad in general.
