A spinner has 12 equal sections, of which 6 are green.

If you spin the spinner once, what is the probability that it will land on a green section?

Answer:

6/12 or 50%, however you're supposed to answer.

Probability = Desired outcome/total outcomes

So, if you're looking for the chance of the spinner landing on a green section, you'd place that (the number of green sections) over the total outcomes (number of sections total). Hope this makes sense and helps!
