I'm not sure if you're trying to do a presentation on the nutrition of plants. I will attempt to address both of them. I'm going to talk about how we get our nutrition from plants, and then do things from plant nutrition. There are six essential elements that all life must utilize, and plant nutrition is the one factor that all life on planet earth has in common. Oxygen, hydrogen carbon, sulfur and nitrogen cost us. The key here is that human beings need all six of these creatures. The key is how the plant gets these. How do we find them from the plant? The plant can't get elements from the air because they don't exist in the ground, so that's going to absorb them from the soil. It usually requires some sort of mold or bacteria that is helping out the plant. There's a relationship between the root system and plants that allows them to use these. Nitrogen and sulfur can be found in different compounds in the soil. If we're farming, we put thosefertilizers in the soil that have been removed from it because we've over farmed it, so we can get that back by adding natural or unnatural fertilization to the soil. Water is absorbed by the roots as well, and that's going to provide both oxygen and hydrogen, and that's one of the things that's going to be obtained from the soil. Most everything has been taken care of from the soil. Oxygen and hydrogen are present. We have sulfur nitrogen and Phosphorus. The carbon is not being absorbed by the ground. That must come from the atmosphere. That's where the leaf ends up. The main thing plants can do is shrink this down, so we can't let that happen. The leaves have to absorb carbon dioxide in order to make energy. We've got all of the elements. It is you that provides the energy so that the plant can continue to grow and replenish its damaged parts, and because of that, they make all of it. We are using these different vitamins and proteins. All of this is taken by us. We get our nutrition from the plants or the animals, what is a consumer? That is where we arrive. But the basics are still the same. We have to consume all the elements that are needed to live. Which are the elements. How do we get that? It's because the plant is doing all the work, it's absorbing the water that's used in the carbon dioxide with carbon dioxide to create the sugar. It's using all of these elements to produce the structure of the plant and then we eat it. Plant nutrition and human nutrition need to do the same thing, that's what that tells you.
