To solve the calculation

3\cdot3+4

You have to pay attention to the order of operations.

Operations follow always the same order:

1. Parentheses

2. Exponents

3. Multiplication/ Division

4. Addition/ Subtraction

And the direction you have to solve them is always from left to right, so if you, for example, have to multiply three numbers:

3\cdot2\cdot4

Is the same operation, so you have to solve it from left to right, that means, multiply the first two digits first, and then multiply the result by the third digit.

\begin{gathered} 3\cdot2\cdot4=6\cdot4=24 \\ \end{gathered}

For the given calculation you have a multiplication "3*3" and then addition. Following the order of operations, you have to solve the multiplication first, and then the addition as follows:

1) Multiply 3*3

3\cdot3+4=9+4

2) Add both values

9+4=13

So the result of the given calculation is

3\cdot3+4=13
