There is 128 ounces in 1 gallon.
So if we have 1 gallon of oil, we have 128 ounces of oil.
Additionally, if 1 gallon of oil costs us $15.24, then 128 ounces also costs us $15.24
If we would like to know the cost of 1 ounce of oil, we can simply divide $15.24 by 128 ounces to get the cost per one ounce.
Then we can multiply the cost per ounce by 2 to get the cost per 2 ounces.
$15.24 / 128 oz. = $0.1191 or ≈ 12 cents
.1191 x 2 = $0.2382 or ≈ 24 cents
Therefore, the price per 2 fl oz of oil is 24 cents or $0.24
