Given:-

  • \sf \: 2 {x}^(2) - 4x + 3 = 0

\:

By using quadratic equation formula :

  • \small \underline{ \sf \: \: a {x}^(2) + bx + c = 0 \: \: }

Formula:-

  • \small { \pink{\star} \boxed{ \sf \color{purple}x = \frac{ - b \pm \sqrt{ {b}^(2) - ac } }{2a} \:} }

\:

Solution:-

\sf \: \: a = 2 , b = -4 , c = 3

\:

  • \sf \: x \: = \frac{ \cancel - ( \cancel- 4) \pm \sqrt{( - 4)^(2) - 4 * 2 * 3 } }{2 * 2}

\:

  • \sf \: x \: = (4 \pm \: √(16 - 24) )/(4)

\:

  • \sf \: x = \frac{4 \pm √( \cancel- 8) }{\cancel{4}}

\:

  • \underline{\boxed{ \sf \purple{ x = 4 \pm √( - 2) }}}
