What is the domain?

The domain is all the possible x-values of a function. In this example, we can see that the starting point (or the first x-value in the function), is -4. We can see that this continues up the x-axis, and the arrow means that it is going on forever. This means that x is getting infinitely bigger, and so that means that the domain is -4 ≤ x, or in interval notation, [-4, ∞)
