x is -4 and y is 4

you plug the y value (x+8) into the equation y=-2x-4 making it x+8=-2x-4, then solve from there

Answer:

x= -4 , y= 4

Explanation:

since they are both y values we equal them together to get x's value, after that you can get y's value from the x you calculated.
