Answer: e = 40 ; f = 140 ; d = 90

Explanation:

Hello {abouttowin10}, (please respond if I'm wrong.)

40 = e. Why? Using the rule of vertical angles, where both angles touch the vertex, the statement is true.

f = 140. Why? Since we have one part of the supplementary angles, we can solve for the variable f. f + 40 = 180 = f + (40 - 40) = (180 - 40) = (f = 140)

d = 90. Why not 140, it's an alternate interior angle? Alternate interior angles are only used on parallels, but the lines aren't congruent/parallel. We also have one part of the supplementary angles (90). d + 90 = 180 = d + (90 - 90) = (180 - 90) = (d = 90)
