(x+7) * (x+2)

Explanation:

Rewrite x^2+9x+14

turn 9x into a sum

x^2+7x+2x+14

factor out x^2

xx(x+7)+2x+14

then factor out 2

xx(x+7)+2(x+7)

factor out x+7 and you're left with

(x+7)*(x+2)
