Answer:

The total cost of an adult tickets and k kids tickets would give us the equation, (13.50 x a) + (7 x k)= total price.

In order to solve how much it is for the adult and children tickets we must multiply. The price times the number of people buying tickets.

13.50 x 8= 108 = adult prices

7 x 16= 112 = children prices

This means the total cost for 8 adult tickets is 108 dollars and the total cost for 16 kids tickets is 112 dollars.

This also means that the cost for a adult tickets is (13.50 x a) and the total cost of k kids tickets is (7 x k)
