Answer: No It Was Not Justified. But Other People Have Different Opinions.

Step-by-step explanation: In my opinion, the reason the French Revolution was justified was because of the king and queen hoarded all the food. It is estimated that about 2,750 French people were sentenced to death in Paris alone; 35,000 - 40,000 in total were executed by the commissions in the countryside. In 1793, there was a huge massacre in Vendee causing the death of about 80,000 French people. (Documents C). The evidence shows that the Reign of Terror was not justified because of the sheer number of people who have been killed and executed. If you add up the numbers, at the very least, over 10,000 people were killed in total. The Number Could Be Wrong.

A second reason the French Revolution was not justified would be all of the rights that the people of France were denied as well as the horrendous and bloody actions committed during the Terror.
