Simplify 1/3x = x/3:-


  • \tt \cfrac{2}{3}+\cfrac{x}{3}=2x

Join denominators:-


  • \tt \cfrac{2+x}{3}=2x

Multiply both sides by 3:-


  • \tt 2+x=6x

Subtract x from both sides :-


  • \tt 2=6x-x

  • \tt 2=5x

Divide both sides by 5:-
