Write out what you would do.

75 POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you’ve likely realized by now, getting your hands dirty and trying out some of the cooking skills and techniques that you’ve been learning about is the best way to further your understanding and culinary abilities! For this lab, you will create a video about sauces, soups, and stocks and the various thickening agents that can be added to them.

Start with a bit of online research to select a soup, a stock, and a sauce that you want to prepare in your video. Also gather information about thickening agents so that you can distinguish between them and demonstrate their physical properties.

Once you have completed your research and selected three recipes to demonstrate (one stock, one soup, one sauce) with at least one that uses a thickening agent, it is time to get ready to demonstrate how to prepare each of these recipes!

You may choose to use real ingredients and actually prepare these recipes so that you or your friends and family can enjoy them after you finish the video, or you may choose to simply improv the preparation using pictures, labeling index cards as ingredients, or showing the actual ingredients but not cutting/cooking them—or a combination of all three.

While recording your demonstrations, you want to make sure that you clearly and concisely explain each ingredient, each step, and each instruction. As with all of your videos, make sure to use plenty of lighting, speak loudly and clearly, and be creative!

I wouldn’t go create the soup I would simply improve the the preparation using pictures labeling index cards since it is the best method in my opinion, since well you have to explain how to create your soup and record it..so as I said labeling is the easiest method (in my opinion) :)
