Given,

The resistance of the resistor, R=25 Ω

The current travelling through the resistor, I=8 A

From Ohm's law, the voltage across a resistor is proportional to the current through the resistor.

Thus the voltage across the given resistor is,


V=IR

On substituting the known values,


\begin{gathered} V=8*25 \\ =200\text{ V} \end{gathered}

Thus the voltage of the battery of the circuit is 200 V
