0.5x+7=4

Answer: x= -6
Explanation: You want to move the positive seven to the right side. 0.5x=4-7
Then you subtract 4-7 which gives you -3
Then divide both of the equation by 0.5
0.5x divide by 0.5 cancels out leaving you the x by it self and then -3 divided by 0.5 gives you -6
Therefore x =-6
