Explain the process that causes dew to form on the blades of grass

dew forms on the blades of grass when moisture in the air condenses onto cooler surfaces such as the blades of grass. as night falls and temperatures drop droplets form on these surfaces due to a process called condensation. this is because warm air can hold more water vapor than cold air - so when it cools some of that water vapor must be released into liquid form (dew).
