Every triangles interior angles adds to equal 180 degrees. With this fact you can set up an algebra equation using the 56, 63, and x variable.

Step 1: ADD the 56 and 63 on the left side of the equation.

56 + 63 + x = 180

Step 2: SUBTRACT 119 from 180 of the right side of the equation.

119 + x = 180

Step 3: AFTER subtracting you should have your answer: 61

x = 61

Step 4: CHECK. Insert your answer in for x back into the original equation. All three numbers should add up to equal 180.

56 + 63 + 61 = 180
