Answer:

C- (4,0)

Explanation:

3x+4y=12

3x+(4y • 0)=12

3x/3=12/3

x=4

2(4)+y=8

8+y=8

-8 -8

y=0

Answer: (4,0)

Explanation:

You can use elimination to solve this. Multiply the bottom equation by -4 so that way the y's will cancel out. These are your equations now:

3x + 4y = 12

-8x - 4y = -32

Now add the equations vertically

-5x = -20

/-5 /-5

x = 4

You can now plug in x in one of the equations. it doesn't matter whihc one but I am going to use the bottom one.

2(4) + y = 8

8 + y = 8

-8 -8

y = 0

You now have your x and y so you can put it into a coordinate point. Your final answer is (4,0)
