The President is a very important part of the United States government and is a part of the Executive Branch of government. The President limits the powers of the Legislative branch and can veto a law, preventing it from being put in action. The President can also call to impeach a member of the Grand Jury, also know as the Judaical Branch. The President also has power to declare war over another country. Besides those important things, a President may also travel around the country to access damage after a major event (examples: Hurricanes, Floods, Tornadoes) as well as spend their time helping out charities or other important causes. The President is the main representation for Americans, which means that they also will travel to other countries to form bonds with them and speak about life in America. When a President of a certain party is in control, there also may be a shift in political beliefs among the people.
