two cylinders have the same size base but one is twice as tall. explain why the tallest cylinder does not have double the surface area​

Answer: Since a cylinder has a circular base which is counted when measuring the surface area and is unchanged with a doubled height the surface area will increase but won't be doubled. It will only be doubled if the circle's radius is doubled aswell.
