Answer:
(0.2,2)

Explanation:

-5x-y=-3

add y on both side of the equation

-5x=y-3

add 3 on both side of the equation

y=-5x+3

Then insert
-5x+3 as y in the equation
y =5x+1

5x+1=-5x+3

add 5x on both side of the equation

10x+1=3

minus 1 on both side of the equation

10x=2

divide by 10 on both side of the equation

x=0.2

That is how you get x

To get y, you would sub 0.2 for x in the equation
y=5x+1 or
-5x-y=-3, I prefer the first equation

y=5x+1

sub 0.2 for x

y=5(0.2)+1

multiply 5 by 0.2

y=1+1

add them up

y=2

and there you go for y

The solution would be in a
(x,y) form. So,
(0.2, 2) would be our answer.
