We need to evaluate,


\implies \displaystyle\sum_(k=1)^5(3-k) \\

Substitute k = 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 and 5 in the expression 3-k and then add them .


\implies (3-1)+(3-2)+(3-3)+(3-4)+(3-5)\\


\implies 2 + 1 + 0 -1 -2 \\


\implies 0\\
