diameter= 2 times the radius

d= 2r

Given diameter= 46 mm

46/2=2r/2

r= 23

a= πr²

Now we know that the radius is 23. Use the formula above.

Note that π= 3.14

a= 3.14(23)^2

a= 3.14(529)

a= 1661.06 mm^2
