Answer:

Migration is the movement of people from one location to another, which is commonly associated with a change in permanent residence. There are several factors that affect migration, these can broadly be classified as Pull and Push factors.

Pull factors are those factors that attract the people to move to a given area and provide better living conditions, for example - possibilities for better employment, higher wages, facilities, better working conditions, and appealing amenities.

Push factors are those factors that make the people move away from a given area, due to poor living conditions, for example - low productivity, unemployment, and underdevelopment, as well as poor economic conditions, a lack of opportunities for advancement, natural resource depletion, and natural disasters, are all factors.

Any four of the above factors can be written for the factors affecting migration.
