Explanation:

the mileage cost is the number of miles times the rate per mile.

240 × 0.62 = $148.80

180 × 0.62 = $111.60

270 × 0.62 = $167.40

580 × 0.62 = $359.60

47 × 0.62 = $29.14

1323 × 0.62 = $820.26

this you put into the "Mileage" column.

and the total expenses on the right is the sum of all $- amounts in the same line.

I don't think I have to do this trivial calculation.
