5x - 2 + x = 9 + 3x + 10x
Combine like terms:
6x - 2 = 9 + 13x
Subtract 6x to both sides:
-2 = 9 + 7x
Subtract 9 to both sides:
-11 = 7x
x = -1.571428571428571
or
x = -11/7

Hope this helped
