One mile is equal to 5,280 feet. Therefore, to convert the altitude of Denver from miles to feet, we can multiply by 5,280:

1 mile × 5,280 feet/mile = 5,280 feet

So, Denver's altitude of 1 mile is equal to 5,280 feet.
