a voltage is applied to a resistor which creates a 1.50 a current. if you double the voltage, keeping the resistance the same, what will the new current be?

Answer: 3.00 A

Explanation: The relationship between Voltage, current and resistance is given by the formula V = IR.

By keeping the resistance constant, the voltage is then proportional. This means that by doubling the voltage, the current will also have to be doubled, to satisfy the equation.
