Answer:

1(1)/(2)

Explanation:

she spends
(2)/(5) of the time cleaning, of just means times. so to get how much time she spent cleaning, multiply:

2(1)/(2)*(2)/(5)=\\(5)/(2) *(2)/(5) =\\(10)/(10)=1

so she spent 1 hour cleaning, to find how much time she spent preparing snacks, subtract:

2(1)/(2)-1=\\ 1(1)/(2)

so the answer is
1(1)/(2)

Answer:

Explanation:

See first you simplify how many hours she has that is
5/2 hours or 2.5 hours that is 150 minutes
now she spends 2/5 or 40% time preparing snacks
now just multiply 150 by 2/5 and subtract that from the total time and get your answer
that is 150*2/5 = 60
150 - 60 = 90
so she has 90 minutes or 1.5 hours or 3/2 hours
whatever you like to say
