To create my model, I chose to use a 3-D physical model that represents the water cycle. The model includes representations of evaporation and condensation, as well as a miniature stream, lake, and cloud. To make the model, I used a plastic container and made a foam mountain range with a river running through it. For the cloud, I used cotton balls. I also used blue and white paint to represent the water. This model demonstrates the concepts of precipitation and evaporation, and involves the scientific fields of meteorology and hydrology.
