In order to find slope of the line, we need to take two coordinates from this graph. Lets take (3,3) and (2,1)

Method 1: Count the slope

We can count the slope using the technique
(rise)/(run) that will give us an answer.

Counting the slope, we get
(2)/(1) which can be simplified to just 2.

Method 2: Slope formula

We can use the formula
(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) to find the slope without counting by simply plugging in the coordinates and evaluate.


(1-3)/(2-3)

Evaluate


(-2)/(-1)=2

Thus, our slope is 2 and the equation of the line will be
y=2x-3
