now, to bring

y - 3 = -4(x - 5)

into the form

is not difficult. we just need to add 3 an both sides and get

y = -4(x - 5) + 3

that "+3" at the end does not change the multiplication factor for x : -4

so, the answer is -4 or -4/1.
