Find the tax on £ 400

Tax = 17.5% of cost

= 17.5% *400


=(17.5)/(100)*400\\\\\\=70

Cost of the T-shirts = 400 + tax

= 400 + 70

= £ 470

Cost of one entry ticket = 5

Let the number of people be 'x'.

Cost of x entry tickets = 5 * x

= 5x

Inequality:

5x ≥ 470

Divide both sides by 5,

x ≥ 470 ÷ 5

x ≥ 94

Minimum number of entries needed to cover the total cost is 94.
