The General form of the equation of a straight line is 9x − 3y + 12 = 0

and it passes through the point (-1, 1).

a) Find the slope-intercept form y=mx+b.

a)
9x - 3y + 12 = 0
-3y = -9x - 12
y = 3x + 4

B)
The slope is 3… the y-intercept is 4, and the x-intercept is -4/3

C)
y-1= 3(x+1)
