total lenght = 35ft

3 sections

Smallest piece = L

Middle piece = 2L

LArgest piece = 2 (2L) = 4L

35 = L+2L+4L

Solve for L

35 = 7L

35/7 = L

L=5

Smallest piece = 5 ft

Middle piece = 2(5) = 10 ft

LArgest piece = 4 (5) = 20 ft
