Air Resistance

Also because a rock is heavier so it will fall faster than a light feather.

It’s kind of like dropping a piece of paper vs dropping a piece of cardboard.

Answer:

Air resistance

Step-by-step explanation:

Air resistance depends on the surface area and velocity. As the feather has more surface area than the stone thus air resistance is more on the feather which causes the feather to fall more slowly than the stone. Although the feather seems to be falling slower than the rock, they are actually falling at the exact same rate. The feather's little bristles are made to catch the air that way birds seem to float on the air currents.
