Do you need a common denominator to divide fractions

Explanation:

To divide fractions you need to do the reciprocal of the 2nd fraction and them multiply.

Eg.
(1)/(3) ÷
(2)/(4)

This is the same thing as
(1)/(3) ×
(4)/(2)

Which equals
(4)/(6) and if simplified, it will be
(2)/(3)

So you don't need a common denominator to divide, you have to use the method showed above.
