Explanation:

assuming that you mean height by altitude, we will split the base in half giving us 5cm on each side, and then apply Pythagoras' theorem so 5^2+12^2=c^2

169=c^2

13=c

the two equal sides measure 13cm

so 13cm+13cm+10

=36cm
