28 There are 147 students in Year 8 at a school. Of the school's students, 17.5% are in Year 8 and 15% are in Year 9. How many more students are in Year 8 than in Year 9? Pls show working ​

Answer:

Total number of students in the school

= 147 ÷ 17.5%

= 840

Number of students in year 9

= 840 x 15%

= 126

Difference between number of students in year 8 and year 9

= 147-126

= 21

So, there are 21 more students in year 8 than that in year 9
