What happens to the stomata of a plant leaf if it was glued shut?

can it preform photoysnthesis?

If the stomata of a plant was glued shut, it would NOT be able to perform photosynthesis.
The stomata is main function is to exchange gases (intake carbon dioxide and remove oxygen) and if it was closed shut, it would not be able to control this flow of gases.
