100 miles in 2 hours means he’s going 50mph. So just divide 400 by 50 and you get 8 hours

the answer is C because you say 50 miles per hour so just add up to 100 to get the two hours so
50miles=1 hour
100miles=2 hour
150miles=2 and a half hours
200miles=3 hours and so on
