You need to start by putting it in slope intercept form. Slope intercept form is a formula, “y=mx+b”. “M” is the slope and you need to isolate “y”. You isolate “y” by subtracting “x” from both sides. The answer to the slope intercept form for this question is “y=-x-2”. In slope intercept form, the last number, in this case -2, is the Y-intercept. You graph the Y-intercept by plotting the point (0, -2). To graph the “M” or the slope of this equation you need to use the formula “rise over run”. “Rise over run” can be solved by moving the slope by using the slope. Ex. Y=2/3x+2. To graph the example, you need to first graph the Y-intercept, which is plot (0, 2). From the Y-intercept, you need to plot another point 3 spaces above it and two spaces to the right. This is how you plot the 2 points in slope intercept form. The answer to your question is you need to plot points (0, -2) and (1, -3).
