Answer: Andrea spent $14.02 on her jeans
Explanation: This problem can be modeled by the expression: 8+2(9.49)+x+2.87=43.87
In this expression “x” is the cost of the jeans.
First off, add the known variables 8+2(9.49)+2.87
It totals $29.85
Then subtract 29.85 from 43.87 to get an answer or $ 14.02
